In this hour, many are dreaming about serpents and scorpions. Students and teachers returning to school soon and those who are returning to places of work and churches are experiencing nightmares that have a commonality. Let’s discuss!

In these dreams, serpents represent lies that are being told by the media that cause fear. Fear of getting sick or fear of death, fear of many people dying. Statistically, this isn’t true. There is a political reason people are being fed fear with lies and one only has to do minor research to determine why the fear of this coronavirus has been elevated to the status it has.

Scorpions represent an unpleasant task that you must endure that may have a stinging consequence. It will be unpleasant to deal with the challenges of in-person class vs. virtual classes, those who may get sick and be treated as covid-19 patients when really they just have colds and common viruses we all get every year when returning to school. Everybody is aware of the crud during each fall season, pray this isn’t turned into micro-pandemics when we know this happens every year.

Scorpions also represent the children who have been out of school for so long. Because of their extended break, many kids have had little discipline and will present problems for teachers.

The Good News is… Jesus Christ! He gives you power and authority to trample on the lies and troubles your enemy sends your way. Believe in Him who saves and continues to free us from our captivity to sin.

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”

Luke 10:19

God is speaking to you in your dreams! He often uses symbolism common to every man and His Word in the bible to show us what He needs us to know. If you are having powerful dreams, write them down and research the meaning of each one so you have a better understanding of your world around you and what God is doing to help you through each day while overcoming your enemy’s tactics.

They will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Mark 16:18

Hold fast to faith and prayer in this hour. Pray for the students and teachers that are returning to school soon. They are full or fear, worry, anxiety and some are experiencing media-driven clinical PTSD. Pray for each other to overcome the enemy in every area where there is a weakness. Pray for strength and for patience to endure. We are not alone in our sufferings, we are together!

In Christ,
