Dreams are amazing. They are moments when you escape your worldly mind and experience a life where God is working with you on your spirit. Raising you up in Christ, teaching you, loving you, and helping you. Dreams are gifts and yes, sometimes our enemy is in the midst of them to cause confusion or to just plainly steal dreams when they are for our purpose. The dream I write about today was received on 7/4/2020. It was one among many themes in one night of dreams. This one touched me deeply when I had it because of the love I felt of Christ and it was perfect.
The Dream
In my dreams of July 4th, I was visiting people at different places and different buildings. In one building I was either led to or drawn to, I was surprised upon entering, because I saw a person who was once a friend who I hadn’t seen in a long time. Not long ago, I had a falling out with this person and I left the our friendship with a pained heart and no way to repair the relationship because of offense and pride.
In the dream, I entered the building, but inside it was a small house. Though the building was large on the outside, the inside of the house was even smaller in than it should have been. This house was located in an area where I wouldn’t expect to people live, like a business district. Earlier, I had been visiting the different businesses in the area and meeting people. But here I was, entering a building that became a tiny house on the inside.
As I entered this building, I saw the man’s wife cooking food on a very tiny stove, the size of a stove that would be in an RV. At once, the enormity of whose house I had entered hit me. This was the house of one-time friends, and in my spirit, I was so very happy to find them, because I had not seen them in a long time. The man’s wife greeted me with enthusiasm as she had long ago. The whole house was cluttered, aged and full of stuff, books and papers. When I saw the old friend, who I had a broken relationship with, I felt all at once elation and immediate joy, because I recognized his face at once as the original friend I had, when I trusted him and was friends with him.
In real life, we hadn’t spoken in months due to he fallout, but in this dream, I felt the love of Jesus Christ in my heart for him and none of the pain I had mattered. All at once, the sadness and loss of the broken friendship touched me and I moved to give him a hug and strike up a conversation. He hesitated at first with giving me a hug, because it was apparent that he had fear of me, but once he saw that there was no malice in me, he gave me a hug. I was smiling and trying to give him a reassuring smile as I gave him this hug. I then noticed that his hair became instantly long, exceptionally long and had purple ends, and upon closer look, they were flowers at the end of the blond stems as though his whole head was covered with flowers.
As I moved away from him after the hug, I saw his face very clearly, which was shiny, bright, but much thinner than I remembered. His whole body was thin and he was wearing a white t-shirt that gave him a holy countenance. As we spoke, and I recall what was said, I saw his hair, which at one moment looked like flowers, but I saw the flowers turn to serpents covering his head as he moved around. Even though I saw these serpents, I had no fear of them or him, but I noticed it. As I left, I had the feeling closure and was hopeful as I departed this part of my dream and moved to another building nearby.
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

The Interpretation
Forgiveness
God wants his children to get along. There are many verses in our bible that state this. And this dream is for all those who have had offenses or trouble in their life with people who they had trouble forgiving or It should be no surprise then, when God brings back old hurts or wrongs in our life to our dreams and shows us a different perspective. Where there was once hurt, there is healing. There are scars we have, but they do not define who we are, they remain as stories to tell others and sometimes can be used as a warning and reminder to trust in God.
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
Romans 12:10
We all must heal from old offenses and we all must wash our hands. We must forgive others as Christ forgave us, and learn to love the people that have hurt us the most, by seeing them as Christ does. Before Jesus died on the cross, and while soldiers were dividing up his things, He said “Father, please forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” Why would Jesus say this when he was being spit on, cursed at, given vinegar instead of water, and eventually killed? Because He knew He had to die to help us and He wanted us to hear that despite our evil, He was still good! He knew He had to die so we would be forgiven and have a chance to see the truth of this world. We could not see the truth because of Satan, Jesus came to heal us of our blindness.
In truth, when we live with Christ in our mind and heart, which is in the spirit, we don’t want to see any of our brothers and sisters hurt, because we recognize them as are true family. Also in the spirit, we do love each other as we love ourselves. But, we are in the world and because of this, we are weak to Satan’s exploits without Christ.
Tiny Stove
In my dream, the wife was cooking at a very small stove. The food she was cooking represents her creations, ministry, or ideas, and she was only able to “prepare” small meals of what she wanted to really do in real life for people because of the conditions she as in. She had the kindness in her eyes of seeing an old friend when she spoke to me, which allowed me to also see who she really was in the spirit; a godly woman. Her attitude in the dream was that of joy, and though she knew she wanted greater blessings, she was satisfied, or at least resigned to the current state of the house and the stove. This small stove is limiting her from doing more and allowing her blessings to manifest as God intended.
The man and wife were both living in a smaller house than they needed. This represents the feelings of the couple that they are limited in their blessings, or that something in their minds was keeping them or limiting them to stay in a small enclosed space when in reality the building they were in on the outside was quite large.
Cluttered House, Hidden Blessings
The cluttered house of newspapers, magazines and the like represented the collected knowledge they learned from all the various sources in the world, but much of it was worldly and unhelpful to them, so it cluttered their house instead of blessing it and allowing them to create a larger house with room. This couple needed to dispose of the worldly knowledge that is holding them back from walking in even great power of Christ. They will then recognize the size of their house or ministry was limited by this large amount of clutter that took up space and be free from it.
The act of shrinking back when I went to embrace my old friend represents a stronghold fear. The man has fear that God’s love comes with a sword of vengeance and he fears it, though he should not. God loves him and forgives him, completely. His perception is likely skewed.
Flowers and Serpents
The man’s hair made of flowers represented the hippie-like and love-able personality he has that causes people to embrace him, but when they step back, the flowers turn into serpents. The serpents represent lies that covered his mind, which causes him or others to be intimidated and controlled by Satan. This may be causing Him or others to be paralyzed in blessings and in ministry. The flowers turning serpents may also represent a fear of failure as blessings turn into curses when this person is overwhelmed by a fear of uncertainty or fear of failure.
Healing Dreams
God wants his children healed and to do so, he will share knowledge with those that listen to Him. In this dream, the very short reunion was to let me know that there are many in the world who limit themselves because of fear. In the time of this writing, we are all gripped in the coils of a serpent of fear. Whether it be current events or fear of success or failure, we are being supernaturally, evilly controlled by the agent of darkness, because of a lack of discernment. When we embrace God’s people and forgive others, we can truly walk in the blessings our Lord and Savior meant for us if we learn to love each other, despite the sinful nature we all have and continue to forgive our brothers, as many times as it takes. In turn, He will turn and heal us.
