Two instruments that help or hinder our relationship with God:
1) The organ between our ears.
2) The organ between our lungs.
God is calling us up higher and seeking for us to be Holy as He is Holy (1 Peter 1:16). When we make a freewill choice to elevate (go higher) with our minds and hearts, and enslave our body’s drives or appetites with self control, we can then operate in the Holy Spirit of our God enough to be in good relationship with Him. When we do, He can use us mightily!

- What can you do today to elevate your mind on Him and what needs to be done in your life and in the lives of others to accomplish good things?
Romans 12:2 - What can you do to put your heart on Him and what He wants to see in His people?
Proverbs 4:23 - What do you need to do to put your body into submission to God’s will and not the carnal desires of our natural flesh?
Galatians 5:24
While this does not cover every organ (tongue, stomach, eyes, nose, ears, etc.) that can cause us trouble, it gives us a good start.
