This is the message I heard while waking this morning. All the past saints heard and repeated the same message, that Jesus Christ is returning soon. He is our salvation.
It’s easy to ignore this message. Once we rise from our slumber, there is so much the world calls our attention to. Our need to go to the bathroom, letting the animals outside, putting on a pot of coffee, while mustering up an idea to make for breakfast are all immediate concerns for our family, while others have their own routines and different morning drills. This prophetic word could easily go to the back of mind, but today, it keeps pushing forward, perhaps to bring additional truth to light.
John 7:12 NIV
“Among the crowds there was widespread whispering about him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others replied, “No, he deceives the people.””
Redemption from Doubt
Doubt is the enemy of faith, and it is so easy to do. In fact, I once doubted too. After some research and reading into doctrines of demons, powerfully convincing people like the leading atheists such as Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens had me questioning everything. I thought, if man has done so much to manipulate man throughout all time, why couldn’t he (man) have created the idea of a god to control, manipulate, and dominate other men?
It was a reasonable thought and one that many modern, educated men reinforce and do their best to convince people, of a lie that there is no god and thereby creating doubt of the very existence of Jesus Christ. Movies like Zeitgeist, had caused a reasonable amount of doubt in me personally to question the truth.
Correction Comes
It wasn’t until I had an interaction with demonic spirits in 2018 that corrected my theology and when I knew without a doubt that if the demonic exists; demonic meaning ancient evil spirits that effect the lives of men to thwart them from God’s salvation plan for us, then God must exist. Moreover, Jesus Christ had actually lived, was crucified, and was raised to life by God and this I have come to know as the truth.
While the world is doing everything the god of this age, who is the prince of the power of the air, or Satan has been planning. Yes, the enemy does indeed have plans, but they are thwarted, because of Jesus Christ and His perfect sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
2 Corinthians 2:11 NIV
“in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.”
God has since taken me on a journey. One revealing the plan for man, from the beginning to the end. He is the author of life and our story. While yes, men do indeed manipulate men for worldly power and greed, there is also an unseen spiritual force at play that causes much of what we fight daily to happen according to God’s plan and will, and it’s above the average man’s understanding (Isa. 55:9). We must be aware of our unseen enemy who works tirelessly against God’s plan for our salvation, and we are to be aware of their evil schemes too.
Now, when I receive a word, such as this morning, I won’t hesitate to write about it. This story is not about me, but it is about Him. He is our author and creator. He is working out a plan with us for salvation.
Salvation for Believers
If you have declared with your mouth and believed with your heart that Jesus is Lord, you are saved.
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9 NIV
Salvation for the Lost
Jesus is calling all believers to help the lost become saved. This is a call to all believers to share the gospel, to share your testimonies, to share your faith, and to lead others to the truth of Jesus. This must be our daily devotion so others may see the Lord’s light through you and be convicted. Time is almost out, the days are getting short and many are currently perishing without the saving knowledge of Jesus.
Salvation for You
If you are reading this and you have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, please, do so today. Yes, your life will change, yes, there are costs. Any good thing costs and your life is worth it. Count the costs (Luke 14:25-33) and make a choice. It will cost you everything, but He is worthy of it all.
So today, believe in your heart and say with your mouth, “Jesus, you are Lord and I want you to save me.” Ask Him into your heart. In doing this, you will begin a salvation transformation process of death into life. You may feel something powerful or you may feel nothing at all, but you can know that with your statement of belief, you have secured your salvation.
This is the first step in a journey of eternal life and it is for everyone. Feel free to share. Feel free to talk with someone about this message, but please, take this as seriously as you can, while there is still time. None of us know when our final day on earth will be.
