Is there any coincidence that last four letters of Judas Iscariot’s name is RIOT? The spirit of betrayal, the same spirit that was in the man who traded Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver, is alive in our nation, active now in Portland and seeks to be in your city.
The desire of the people to experience war is great. Each side supposedly opposing injustice but now are only opposing each other in a small battle of civil war delivered as if on a stage to the rest of the world.
These videos incite others – in other cities, in other states, in other countries to go “get some” themselves. People have been oppressed, depressed and distressed for too long; by an unseen enemy, by a response to it, by the loss of jobs and wealth. They have been without a voice for too long and now the spark is ignited, the fuel frustration and impatience is plentiful and the churches, who are to be the salt in the world to extinguish the flames of this world, are closed or locked down and quiet.
This is no coincidence.
Where there is no love and forgiveness for our neighbor, there is hate.
Where there is no justice there is violence.
Where there is no peace, there is war.
Where there is no Christ in us, there is Satan.
Pray for our people, pray for our city, region and nation. Pray for the strongholds of civil war, anarchy, and anger which are of the antichrist spirit, to be broken and cast down from high places in the name of Jesus Christ. And people of God, do not participate or enjoy the strife and contention of those in the streets. Instead, pray for the lost to get to a place where they are able to accept and know Jesus before it is too late.
